Participant Responsibility and Assumption of Risk
By registering for the retreat, participants acknowledge that they voluntarily assume all risks associated with their participation. While the retreat facilitators and staff will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety, participants understand that physical, emotional, and environmental risks may arise.
The Center for Transformational Coaching and Chozen Retreat Center are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, or personal losses that may occur during or as a result of the retreat. Participants are responsible for managing their own health, safety, and well-being throughout the retreat.
Medical and Emergency Care
Participants are required to disclose any relevant health conditions, dietary restrictions, or medications. Any medical treatment or emergency care needed during the retreat will be at the participant’s own expense. The retreat staff will provide reasonable assistance in case of emergencies but are not responsible for medical outcomes.
Travel and Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover any unexpected changes, cancellations, or emergencies. The Center for Transformational Coaching is not liable for travel disruptions, missed flights, or expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters or other force majeure events.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by Participant:
- Cancellations made 60+ days before the retreat start date will receive a full refund minus a $300 deposit.
- Cancellations made between 30-59 days will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat are non-refundable.
- In the event of unexpected illness or emergency, participants may transfer their registration to another person, subject to approval.
Cancellation by Organizer:
If the retreat is canceled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government regulations, etc.), participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their payment to a future retreat. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred (such as travel or accommodation changes).
Photography, Video, and Media Release
Participants understand that photos and videos will be taken to document the experience, and some of this content may be used for promotional purposes. By consenting, participants agree to the use of these images in promotional materials for the Center for Transformational Coaching. If a participant opts out, we will do our best to respect their privacy.
Code of Conduct
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. Any behavior that is disruptive, inappropriate, or harmful to the retreat community may result in the participant being asked to leave without refund.
Waiver of Liability
By registering for the retreat, participants agree to waive any claims against the Center for Transformational Coaching, Chozen Retreat Center, and all associated staff, contractors, or volunteers for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the retreat.
Agreement to Terms
By completing the registration, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions, including the cancellation and refund policy.
